This is the current message I get when running S@D

Error during check

zlob.zcodec(ungiultiger Datentype fur)

but it also says congratulations, no problems noted.

Does this make any sense to anyone? I had posted in another thread that it was a problem with internet explorer. that problem has improved but when I ran spybot this am, this is the message I received.

Any help will be appreciated.;)
 
Please go into Spybot > Help > About. What version of Spybot are you running? What Windows operating system are you running?
 
Spybot 3.1

I am using spybot 1.3. just updated last week, but problem started before that. Using Windows xp home edition. sp1. I have been afraid to update to sp2, because I have heard there can be problems. Could that be the problem?

Also wanted to mention that the message zlob.zcodec(ungiultiger Datentype fur) starts with a triangle with a red exclamation point in it.

Any ideas, and thanks in advance.

Thanks, I will try it. I thought I had the latest one since I updated just last week. Hopefully this will help.:)
 
Download sites for Spybot-S&D 1.4 (there are four (4) listed here):Uninstall Spybot-S&D 1.3:Installing Spybot-S&D 1.4:
  • Execute spybotsd14.exe download above.
  • I recommend that you do not change the default installation path of:
    • C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy
  • Update before scanning.
