Error retrieving update info file - Need 1.6.2 update URL

When I search for S&D updates in version 1.6.0.30 I get an error message saying "error retrieving update info file". I'm hoping the new update will solve this but I can not find it anywhere for free.

Plus trying to find it I now get a lot of browser windows opening onClicks onLoad when searching through google in both IE 7.0 and Firefox.
Does anyone know where to get the free 1.6.2 update for S&D and can you type the direct URL in to your reply to this post.

Also try reauthorizing SDUpdate.exe to use the internet in your firewall.
