Fixing after Scan does not work

I have removed and installed software version 2 several times. Win 7. Scan finds malware. When I try remove all checked items -- S&D hangs. Have to shut it down using task manager. Please help. Thanks

Instead of shutting Spybot down via task manager,you could try leaving it for a little while,even if it says not responding,maybe for 15-20 or so minutes.Sometimes it will start responding again,and complete the fix.
