Freezing

I know you guys probably get this question asked alot, so sorry in advance.

I have been using s&d for about two years now, and have recently been encountering a problem with the program freezing. Sometimes it will happen in the beginning of a scan, and other times it will freeze toward the middle to end of a scan. is this a software glitch or is it just my computer?

Ok when I go into the processes of the task manager and right click, all i see is "set priority". I tried to run a scan while i had the priority on high but it still froze

Anyone have some help? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it still randomly freezes.
