Help! Been trying to remove Qone8 virus from my pc for hours

Hi

I am a real tryer but unfortunately have not succeeded. I don't know if anyone knows anything about this and what if any programme I could use to remove it without restoring my computer to its factory settings which I am on the verge of doing. I downloaded a couple of free virus removal programmes, but was a bit worried about purchasing one without being certain it will remove the virus.

Look forward to hearing from anyone who can help.

Nic, if it's any consolation (know I'm being Job's comforter here) I have been labouring all day with the same. Ran Spybot (paid version), Norton, one free anti-malware programme and two free ones but the problem STILL remains

If the issue isn't removed by conventional methods one can request assistance in the Malware Removal Forum and a volunteer analyst will advise when available.

First see that forum's FAQ which also includes instructions in post #2 on how to provide DDS and aswMBR logs, which are used in the preliminary analysis.
