Help - Cannot get onto internet

Hi,

I have installed S&D onto my brother in laws PC and I checked for/installed updates etc and done a scan. The scan found a few items which i selected to fix.

After a restart of the PC we couldn't reconnect to the internet. (TalkTalk broadband)

So I recovered the changes made4, restarted and still couldn't get onto the web.
I removed S&D and still can't get onto the web.

Please help!

(I have used S&D for a long time without a prob)
 
Hello,

So you have Spybot not installed anymore?
Did you undo the immunization?
Did you deactivate the SDHelper before uninstall?
Or is it still running in the taskmanager?
Did you tried to create a new host file?

Here goes:

Or is it still running in the taskmanager? No.Did you tried to create a new host file? Yes, I took a copy of the original prior to install.
