help!!!!!! Can't Remove ARES!!!

HELP! Can't remove a program called 'ARES". My wife used it for music, for her mp3 and IPod. Now i can't remove it. When i try all i get is a box. 'Can't remove, try closing and Try again" The problem is it is not running. I als get pop ups. I have tryed everything. Can't get it to go away. Have tryed Lavsoft, spybot, yahoo, my Antivirus. HELP!!!! Also im running Windows XP Home. HELP!!!!
