help need to fix problem

I removed Java this afternoon because I dont use it and just did the first part of your instructions where I removed old versions of Java.
I just tried to put a complaint on the 'stand up and be counted'
wow, what a difficult site to use I could not find where I was meant to complain too! lol
either that or I am really thick!
 
Just pick your country subforum first.

If nothing fits, choose "Not fitting any of the other threads" or similar :)

If I don't want to use Java now that I have uninstalled it do I still need to disable and then enable system restore?
to be honest it sounds scary because I have never done it before but if you recommend that I do it, I will

I have just looked at the link you gave me and my system is set to the figure one which means i am disabled?
so do I now follow the instructions to enable?

I now have ticked the box in the 'red' square on ur instructions and the 'green' box says partion c 'turned off'

what do I do now please?

I ran adAware this morning before I contacted you and it still picked up the MyWebSearch stuff.

will this be gone after the system restore?
 
Then reboot and uncheck it, please :)

If ad-aware still finds something, please post its log,.

I ran AdAware this morning, the infections that showed up before did not show today.
Just scanned with Spybot, no infections there

Am I clean?

Would you recommend that I scan with Malwarebytes once a month?

I keep AVG, AdAware and Spybot all up to date

lol, anyone would think I had state secrets on my computer with all this security!
I cant get back here until 7pm so see you then
