My computer was able to connected connected by Mcafee site and perfrom update properly, till one day I experienced the xp box failed to start or hang after start.
Trying to connected to anti-virus sites and all being blocked.
Installed spybot but failed to start it, till I have renamed the exe to something else
but I'm not able to start the scan as it first has to do "update" and the site is being blocked!
It's similar with HJT and I can only run it after renaming the exe file!
Any suggestions on what might be gone wrong and how to resolve it?
