Help needed with the removal of Parento Logic Anti Virus Plus

Help needed, tried to remove right media ( picked up by spybot scan, still present ) and stupidy installed Parento Logic Anti Virus Plus, now my Avira AntiVir has gone offline.

What do you mean by "gone offline"

RE: uTorrent: There is plenty of malware distributed via p2p networks.

Thanks for the help, I've tried to uninstall it, it won't uninstall. I've always tried to remove it using MalwareBytes Anti-Malware and NVT malware removal tool, with no success, the programs don't pick it up. When i say my Avira Antivir premium is offline, as in my online protection is reading as "disabled". I don't really use torrent sites but i'll be removing the programs.

Parento Logic Anti Virus is a legit antivirus app. Using explorer you can take a look in C:\Program Files and find its folder. click on the folder then look for a uninstall.exe or unins000.exe icon inside the folder to double click on. You may have to be logged in as a Admin in Vista.

if you go to start>settings>control panel>User Accounts. click on add or remove user accounts. In the panel you should see your account and it would say administrator if you have a admin. account. Does it say admin under your account? Have you ever uninstalled anything before from the add/remove programs panel?

I've checked my user account and it states i'm the administrator. I've uninstalled programs before with no issue. When i tried to remove this Parento Logic program it tells me i need to be logged in as the administrator, do i need to change settings in my user account?

If you have a Admin account then you should be able to uninstall it. did you take a look in C:/Program files for a uninstall.exe icon. Give me some time and i will boot into my Vista partition and check something. In linux now.
