hi

that didnt show anything suspicious

lets check your host file:
Your HOSTS file is located in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc. Doubleclick it. If it asks you what program to use to view it, use Notepad. What you are looking for is some instance of the sites you are unable to view. Let me know what you find.

This is all that there is...

# Copyright (c) 1993-1999 Microsoft Corp.
#
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
#
# For example:
#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host

127.0.0.1 localhost

127.0.0.1 localhost

Okay, I've tried everything except...

...clearing my cache. How do I do this? I've searched through my help files and Windows doesn't address it.

Cheers,

Bob

Open Internet Explorer.
At the top, click Tools>Internet Options> and then,
Click Delete Files and then in the new applet check the box for all offline content
Click OK

hi

do you use IE as your default browser ?
sometimes it is possible to do a repair installation of it, sometimes not
chek control panel> add remove programs for it

if you use an alternative browser a reinstall is a good choice!

meanwhile i will ask around if i can find a possible solution
