Help please! windows no disk error

Hello all,I have been having a few spurious errors on my computer so i downloaded spybot to try and sniff out any problems.When i try to check for errors spybot starts its scan and then i get "Windows no disk" error. The error is C0000013 parameters 75b6bf7c x3.I have to click on "continue" a hundred times and then it will scan a few more files and the error comes back again.Then again then again.I haven't got past the first few thousand files without having to do this loads of times.Any ideas please.Kev (pulling hair out!)

What version of Spybot - Search & Destroy are you running (Spybot » Help » About)?

What is assigned to Drive C on your system?
 
have you......

1.) checked the hard drive for errors?

2.) tried to scan spybot in safe mode?

Also more information would be appreciated. spybot version and windows version? thanks!
