help spybot keeps closing when i try to remove spyware

just recently i got my friend to download spybot and i ran a scan and it picked up 137 problems and when i click fix these problems it closes its self.
I also ran avg which picked up 3 viruses and i removed them. I try again and it still happened. i am VERY desperate for help.
