help with malware

i'm not sure which version of norton i have, and hence, don't know which removal tool to pick. how can i find out?
 
When did you get your computer? Did Norton come with it or did you buy Norton? Look to see if you can find a Norton/Symantec CD and see what year/version it says on it.
