"hosts" file seems very strange

I noticed the hosts file under windows 7 was changed by spybot. It listed literally hundreds of sites which indicates to me they are all allowed to access my computer. I had to revert back to the original hosts file which had two entries -till someone tells me spybot did the right thing. Thanks.

Hello,

By the immunization of Spybot - Search & Destroy the baddies are blocked.
That means that the sites where the baddies come from are added to the restricted zones in order to block them.
With removing Spybot's items from the host list you are now not protected anymore.
