I recently got a virus on my computer that has wreaked a lot of havoc over the last few nights. After running Spybot, Adaware, AVG, and Norton Anivirus all multiple times, I'm still plagued with the results of my Spybot scans, which describe a Command Service that, despite all my attempts, is stubbornly remaining in my operating system and, I believe, proliferating itself with additional spyware as I'm on my computer and the internet.
I've read a thread addression a similar, possibly identical, issue. The steps that you had advised to be taken involved a scan with Hijackthis. I don't believe I can follow your advice pertaining to the similar thread because my Hijackthis log is very different, and I believe your advice was given on an individual basis.
