After I downloaded spybot and did a scan I had like 99 files that it said I needed to immunize so I selected them all and after I tried to use google and firefox I just got blank pages so I did a recovery and after that I have a ridiculous amount of adds that pop up if I try to close them it takes me to the site anyways I also discovered that I had downloaded an older version of spybot but when I clicked on the update it said there were none I did the backup registry. downloaded the farbar recovery scan tool and also the aswMRB log and followed the instructions to save them to my desktop. I also copied them to my post and tried to submit it but it would not allow me to on the infected computer So here I am on the laptop giving you all the info I can just not the files. I have windows 8.1 and I have an asus computer. PLEASE HELP

Let's see if you can go to this web site and download a tool to use.

Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop.
Or from here http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/malwarebytes-anti-malware/
  • Open Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and click Update Now.
  • Once updated, click the Settings tab, followed by Detection and Protection and tick Scan for rootkits.
  • Click the Scan tab, ensure Threat Scan is checked and click Scan Now.
  • Note: You may see the following message, "Could not load DDA driver". Click Yes, allow your PC to reboot and continue afterwards.
  • If threats are detected, click the Apply Actions button. You will now be prompted to reboot. Click Yes.
  • Upon completion of the scan (or after the reboot), click the History tab.
  • Click Application Logs and double-click the Scan Log.
  • Click Copy to Clipboard and paste the log in your next reply.
