I can't see icons on task bar.

Hello,
When I do system scan on HJT and it disappeared, I can't copy the report. Any windows I open, I can't see on taskbar when i hit the minimize button, they are hidden somewhere.
My IE, it display "can't connect to internet" even though I hook up directly to local network.
Please help, what should I do now.
It's Window XP Pro.

Are your desktop icons visible? A bit difficult to imagine the problem (screenshot would help). Have you made sure taskbar is not set too low that would hide it? Move the mouse to bottom of the screen and see if cursor changes to show vertical arrows. If so, press mouse button and drag up to make taskbar visible.

Download DDS and save it to your desktop from here or here or here.
Disable any script blocker, and then double click dds.scr to run the tool.
  • When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:
    1. DDS.txt
    2. Attach.txt
  • Save both reports to your desktop. Post them back to your topic.
