i am using Spybot - Search & Destroy. is there a pro version of it that you have to pay for? and can you give me a link to the pro version.

As md usa spybot fan said, all features are in the free version. Maybe, the one who told you about the pro version, was talking about the "Advanced Mode" that provides a set of various additional tools and settings. You can get to "Advanced Mode" by using the menu bar item "Mode".
