1. I "can not delete ACTIVI~.GIF: Cannot find the specified the file. Make sure you specify the correct path and file name."

You may have to remove that Adware when signed in as administrator?


1) Don't worry about it, there is always a few items in the folder that will not delete. If you look at the creation date, it will probably go back to the date the computer was activated.

2) What is wrong is that you passed over the directions I posted to purge System Restore files in post #14.

My computer looks good now

1. Turn off System Restore.
2. Scan C drive using symantec software. Thread found: 0
3. Turn off computer. Turn on computer.
4. Turn on System Restore @ 11:25 PM June, 05 2007.
5. Run HJT again.
Could you please take a look if my computer is OK.

Your HJT log looks clean of malware. I suggest you ask all users to review the information I posted to prevent malware. No matter how good your security is it is worthless if the users are not going to follow the instructions.
