IE Popups, Smitfraud? Trojan? Help!

Hello, I need some help.

I have recently been getting random popups in IE (and firefox if im using) from some weird addresses like http://89.188.16.16/trafc-2/rfe.php?.... and 65.243.103.62. IE has been running a bit slower than usual and a java game I play doesn't work, however it works fine in firefox. (At one point i got a error that popped up in a new window that read
Fatal error: Class 'ExtData' not found in /usr/local/www/data-dist3/trafc-2/advdb/cmps.php on line 3092
)

* Notice the "trafc-2" which leads me to believe they are connected.

I believe that the infection may be some sort of trojan that my brother may have gotten by downloading a suspicious exe. I have run spybot a few times and removed smitfraud-toolbar888 twice and some other stuff. I have also run adaware, spyware doctor and scanned with McAfee (definitions are old though).

After removing everything the scans found I still have the same problems.

I also ran VundoFix after reading some other threads about Smitfraud (theres alot!) and removed like 6 files apparantly.

Heres a HijackThis log:

Also, on boot-up, a dialog box titled Rundll pops up and says "Failed to load scucaobq.dll" ever since I first ran VundoFix.

Hi

That's actually a very good sign; one bad dll missing.

  • Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
  • Click the Scan for Vundo button.
  • Once the scan is complete, Right Click inside the listbox (white box) and click add more files
  • Copy&Paste the 2 entries below into the top 2 boxes

    C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\ssqnnlk.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\jilpbwuo.dll

  • Click Add Files and Click Close Window
  • You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES
  • Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
  • When completed, it will prompt that it will reboot your computer, click OK.
  • Please post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt and a new HiJackThis log in a reply to this thread.
Note: It is possible that VundoFix encountered a file it could not remove. In this case, VundoFix will run on reboot, simply follow the above instructions starting from "Click the Scan for Vundo button" when VundoFix appears upon rebooting.

Ok.

Please do an online scan with Kaspersky Online Scanner. You will be prompted to install an ActiveX component from Kaspersky, Click Yes.
  • The program will launch and then start to download the latest definition files.
  • Once the scanner is installed and the definitions downloaded, click Next.
  • Now click on Scan Settings
  • In the scan settings make sure that the following are selected:

o Scan using the following Anti-Virus database:

+ Extended (If available otherwise Standard)

    o Scan Options:

    + Scan Archives
    + Scan Mail Bases
  • Click OK
  • Now under select a target to scan select My Computer
  • The scan will take a while so be patient and let it run. Once the scan is complete it will display if your system has been infected.
  • Now click on the Save as Text button
  • Save the file to your desktop.
  • Copy and paste that information in your next post.

Ok um... I removed the stuff from HiJackThis.

The online scanner needs to download 11 mb of updates. Since I have dial-up, it will take me hours to download the definitions. I only have limited time on the internet so I am wondering if I really have to scan with Kaspersky.

Here is the HiJackThis log though:
