Immunization, How often do I need to?

I am new to Spybot & I turned the immunisation on after the last update. I have noticed that when I checked it again later it claimed that some items were not protected. Is this normal? Do I just re-immunize like after an update?

I am not a spybot expert but this is what I do to make sure it shows unprotected as 0 ...

On the spybot left hand side menu hit immunize. When it is complete there is a link on the top of the page that says immunize. Hit that as well.

Immunization works at full power, when there are zero unprotected.
