Immunizing -Thunderbird not recognized

How can I get Spybot to recognize and immunize Thunderbird? Uninstalling and reinstalling both products in different order does not seem to help.

I'm using Spybot 1.6.0.30 on a Windows XP laptop system.
I'm using Thunderbird version 2.0.0.17, and TrendMicro Internet Security version 16.10.1182 for Antivirus and Firewall. I'm also using Spyware Blaster version 4.1.

I use all of the same above on a Windows Vista desktop system and have had no problem immunizing Thunderbird. Is it possible Spybot only immunizes Thunderbird under Vista?

Hello,

Please try the following:
Go to the folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox

There please delete the permissions.sqlite and generate a new file for the hostperm.1 that is empty.
Now please immunize again.
That should solve the problem.
