Heyo, Names Saalkin. Recently I was a tool and clicked on one of those fake codecs downloads. I pretty much knew it wasn't clean but clicked anyways, wasn't really thinking.
The malware has been causing windows live to no longer function. Firefox redirects almost all websites I go to and I don't even want to open Internet Explorer to see what will pop up. Lucky Opera seems to be unaffected.
I tried running Spybot, along with a bunch of other tools for removing malware but all of them no longer open. I also can't get a log from hijack this as it crashes and won't open again.
With this lack of info it seems like it might be hopeless but I don't want to reformat due to some odd licensing with a program I own. I may have to though.
