Install-Problem with Vista Premium Home

[From a Vista-Greenhorn with:
ICS over XP to a new Vista computer (is working correctly for Firefox and other programs)].

On installing Spybot S&D 1.52 I get a connection error (updallocator.php) and can't get to the end.
Is this a network configuration problem (if so, any idea, why?) or does Spybot S&D need some special conditions for downloading to install? (which ones?)

Windows Defender is now off, "Live OneCare" is on (how to deinstall?), Windows Firewall is active.
