installation problam

umm..
everytime i try to install spybot i get an error that says that it can't connect to the server or something like that
anybody has an idea about it? it happens with other installations too

I don't know if you still have this problem, anyway I hope his could be useful for others who are experiecing the same thing. I used to have the same problem, but it disappeared after I got rid of Link Optimizer, so check if you are infected too.

Install without updating. When the installation is complete authorize SpybotSD.exe to access the internet through your firewall. Start Spybot-S&D (SpybotSD.exe) and update.

If you still have problems updating, please post the exact error message you are getting.
