Is it possible that Spybot - Search & Destroy delete Sony Vegas autosaved files (.bak) considering them temporary files?

I snooped around some Sony Vegas posts, and yes, I believe it might be possible for Spybot to delete them if they are placed in one of your temp file folders on your computer. Though I wasn't entirely sure that is where they are placed, due to the wording.
However, I did see a pretty recent Youtube video, and I don't believe Spybot would delete the .bak files if they are located where it says in the video. Spybot does remove usage tracks, so it's possible, but I have the feeling it would leave the .bak files alone.
You can watch the video, and see if yours might be located in the same place. Only thing is this person's backup files have a .veg extension, not .bak, but perhaps it is because they use another language? I'm not sure on that. Here's the video, the location might differ if you have a different os:

Yes - autosaved files should be storaged in the same folder as in the video you post (both .veg and .bak files) but there are no files with that extensions in Sonys folder.
I cant find another explanation for their disappearance because I was doing same routine as always with that exception: I run Spybot and click remove temp files when I was asked.
I didnt even think about possibility of deleting such important files from Sonys folder...
Is there possibility that Spybot quarantined those files? So I can find them somewhere on the PC?

Oh, do you mean when Spybot says it detected many temporary files and asks if you want to clean up? If Sony Vegas puts it's backup files in your temp folder, I do not believe that any temp files are backed up in quarantine. :sad:

You could look in that folder just in case. Sometimes some temp files cannot be removed when they are in use.
Hopefully, the Sony Vegas backup files aren't put into your temp folder.
If Spybot did remove any usage tracks from Sony Vegas after you did a scan,however, then those should be backed up into Spybot's quarantine folder. In that case rightclick Spybot Start Center, run as administrator, open quarantine, scroll through to look for anything Sony Vegas related, and if it seems applicable, then you can checkmark it and click Restore Selected.
I do see in one of the posts on this forum that sometimes the .veg and .bak files are hidden:

You sound as if you have already viewed your backup files in that folder before, but on the off chance that is not the case, then you could show hidden files and folders, then look again:

This post from 2013 has instructions where autosave files are kept. I suppose it is probably only in the one location, but you could look to see if there might be two locations where they are saved, possibly:
