Fixed: Is Optimum Installer A False Positive?

'Optimum Installer' came up with a Scan Result

I saw in the Log that 'Optimum Installer' was found in the buttons of the Google Toolbar for IE. I deleted Optimum Installer following these instructions:

I then uninstalled the Google Toolbar for IE. Could I have done any harm if 'Optimum Installer' was a False Positive? Thank you.

We will investigate this. According to your log file Spybot deleted a XML file belonging to the Google Toolbar. I do not expect this to cause any harm, especially not after you fully uninstalled the toolbar.

I can confirm that this is a false positive, it will be fixed with the next detection update scheduled for Wednesday 2012-12-19.
