Spybot–S&D version 1.6.0.31 has been installed on my computer. I have downloaded its 1.6.2 version. Is uninstalling an old version necessary before installing the new one?
it's not really necessary but I've heard from some problems. I always recommend an complete un-install before installing the new version. In the end, it's your decision.
