Keep Getting Error Messaqge

Hello:
I keep getting this error message when I try and run Spybot. I have uninstalled Spybot and tried again three time. I still get it. The message is....The procedure entry point internetGetSecurityInfoByURLW could not be located in dynamic link library.dll

There appears to be an entry point in wininet.dll by the name of "InternetGetSecurityInfoByURLW". C:\WINDOWS\system32\wininet.dll is a Microsoft provided dll (dynamic link library) that is loaded by SpybotSD.exe when Spybot is running.

Are you sure that you have provided the actual text of the message you are getting?

If the message actually read:

"The procedure entry point internetGetSecurityInfoByURLW could not be located in dynamic link library wininet.dll"

It would indicate that there is a problem with the wininet.dll and if you are running Windows XP, I would suggest that you do a Windows XP Repair Install to replace the wininet.dll:
