Key board not responding

Hi, Ie was on vacation for 10 days and on coming back I found that the keyboard for my laptop is not responding. Sometimes it would just print one alphabet (yesterday it printed the alphabet "f" for 54 pages and I was not able to stop it). The mouse and everything else works fine.
Today I took it to one of the big box stores for repairs and the person ran a diagnostic test and found the system has 2 viruses
Mal/Generic-A
Troj/Bckdr-QUF
Can someone please help.

Hi Tashi,

Everything worked out well and I was ungrateful not to acknowledge and thanks Blade81 at that point.
I feel bad to being knocking at the experts doors in time of need and then not thanking for it.
I would completely understand if you'll not want to help me for that reason.
