The following instructions have been created to help you to get rid of "Fraud.LiveSecuritySuite" manually.

Description:

Fraud.LiveSecuritySuite claims to be an antispyware tool. When it is installed to the computer it finds a lot of harmless entries in order to frighten the user and make him buy a license to get the issue fixed.​

Removal Instructions:

Autorun:

Please use Spybot-S&D, RunAlyzer or msconfig.exe to remove the following autorun entries.

• Entries named "Live Security Suite" and pointing to "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Live Security Suite\LiveSS.exe*".

Files:

Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these files.

• The file at "<$APPDATA>\Live Security Suite\db\config.cfg".
• The file at "<$APPDATA>\Live Security Suite\db\Timeout.inf".
• The file at "<$APPDATA>\Live Security Suite\db\Urls.inf".
• The file at "<$APPDATA>\Live Security Suite\settings.ini".
• The file at "<$APPDATA>\Live Security Suite\uill.ini".
• The file at "<$APPDATA>\Live Security Suite\unins000.exe".
• The file at "<$APPDATA>\Live Security Suite\Uninstall Live Security Suite.lnk".
• The file at "<$COMMONDESKTOP>\Live Security Suite.lnk".
• The file at "<$COMMONPROGRAMS>\Live Security Suite\Live Security Suite Home Page.lnk".
• The file at "<$COMMONPROGRAMS>\Live Security Suite\Live Security Suite.lnk".
• The file at "<$COMMONPROGRAMS>\Live Security Suite\Purchase Licence.lnk".

Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If Fraud.LiveSecuritySuite uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify files!

Folders:

• The directory at "<$APPDATA>\Live Security Suite\db".
• The directory at "<$APPDATA>\Live Security Suite".
• The directory at "<$COMMONPROGRAMS>\Live Security Suite".
• The directory at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Live Security Suite\db".
• The directory at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Live Security Suite\Languages".
• The directory at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Live Security Suite".

Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If Fraud.LiveSecuritySuite uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify folders!

Registry:

You can use regedit.exe (included in Windows) to locate and delete these registry entries.

• Delete the registry key "Live Security Suite_is1" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\".
• Delete the registry key "Live Security Suite" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\".
• Delete the registry key "Live Security Suite" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\".

If Fraud.LiveSecuritySuite uses rootkit technologies, use our RegAlyzer, RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.
