Win32.Alureon.mbr is a Rootkit related to the Alureon/TDSS family. Once run it infects the Master Boot Record (MBR) unalterable. It is run on every system reboot and may also installs rogue antispyware applications. It is recommended to use special Master Boot Record tools to replace the infected MBR with a legit one.
