Using XP SP3 I upgraded to 1.6 and noted ALL disk accesses have slowed to a crawl. If I click on a folder on the desktop it takes about 7 seconds to display the contents!
I uninstalled SB and speed returned to normal.
I downloaded a fresh copy of 1.6, installed and the slow down returned. This affects IE also but is NOT limited to IE.
As of now, I have had no choice but to remove 1.6. Where can I find the previous version until this issue is resolved?
