Need User Feedback: Morgan MPEG Codec to be a reliable download? AdRotator Reported

I have been informed that the Morgan MPEG Codec to be a reliable download.

Spybot detects AdRotator (??????) and deletes it immediatley when I try to install the Trial Version from here.

Is This a False Positive?
If so what do I have to do to get the Morgan Codec installed?

I Don't think I have a malware attack as everything appears fine.
I have run Zonealarm AV and MBAM which do not find anything else.
S&D does not find anything else either.

the only v3 codec available at morgan-multimedia.com is the Morgan MJPEG Codec, so I assume you are referring to that?

I cannot reproduce a detection when installing this codec which means that you probably encountered an unreproducible TeaTimer false positive.

Updating Spybot S&D and restarting your computer may solve this issue, if not TeaTimer may get hindered by live protection features from your other security software. It is advised to have only one live protection activated, in this case you can deactivate TeaTimer (this does not affect the normal scan by Spybot S&D):
  • start Spybot S&D and switch to advanced mode
  • navigate to tools - resident
  • remove the check mark for resident TeaTimer to deactivate TeaTimer and remove it from system start
