my web search removal

how do I remove my web search off my computer?? Im in a bad way. Ive tried several different ways and none of them have worked.

If there is no uninstaller in the Add/Remove Programs window, try running Spybot-Search&Destroy in Safe Mode and remove it from there. Just be sure to disconnect your Internet connection before scanning (and update first).

My wife had this one on her machine. There is a dll file running which can't be removed by Spybot. You should download Hijackthis and fix the entries in the registry. Then run Spybot and it will remove the rest :crowned:

These removal instructions might be helpful. I caution that I have never used them, and merely did a Google search to find the info. It all looks valid enough to me. Good luck.
