Nasty Infection Of Vundo/Virtumonde

Hi,
I'm an experienced PC user, and usually can clean up a virus with no help, but this is giving me some problems.
I downloaded a program from a somewhat unreliable source, and then AVG wouldn't stop popping up with virus infections, the only one that won't clean is Vundo. I checked with S&D and it found them, and also threw a load of errors at me...


Can someone give me some advice as to how to clean this up?

Also (sorry to bump) I scanned my computer whilst in safe mode. Could this be part of the problem?
