Need help removing Smitfraud-c.

You can close the topic. I ran spybot and it picked up a couple of issues which were successfully removed. The EZ Antivirus and the Kaspersky scan came back completely clean. Many thanks for your help in resolving the problem. I'm sure I speak for everyone on the forum when I say that your time and help is very much appreciated.
