Need help with removing spyware

My laptop has spyware on it. I downloaded Spybot 1.5 and I tried running it. But nothing happens when I try to run it. Is there something else I need to do?

Please see this stickied topic: "BEFORE you POST"(READ this Procedure BEFORE Requesting Assistance)

If you cannot run the Spybot or Anti Virus scan at all, please go ahead and post the HJT log along with a note regarding scan/s failure.

Copy/paste the HJT log and result of the on-line anti virus scan into a new topic, then I will close this one as helpers look for zero response.
