Need help with Smitfraud-C. and clean-up...

OK...I hope I've hit all of the points above. The reason why I'm assuming that I still have some sort of issue is that each time I run Spybot (after checking for updates), I keep getting the same 4 instances reported at Smitfraud. This was what caused me to think that I had the initial problem. We cleanup some other things, but the 4 reports of Smitfraud are still beind detected by Spybot Search and Destroy.

I ran through the Smitfraudfix process again, per your recommendation above. I also ran another HJT scan and have posted the results below. Let me know what you think and if ther is anything that I can do to remove these 4 reports of Smitfraud....or anything else...that might be causing problems. Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback, as I said, we have had instances where bits and pieces remained in the registry and they can cause no problem since the program is gone, so here is what I need to know.

Did SmitfraudFix SEARCH function locate any of the infections, could you post that report for me please.

Spybot does from time to time identify false positives, and in this case leftover stuff in the registry. Spybot has a function where you can tell it to ignore certain items, it puts them on a list and does not show them to you. If you do not know how to do this, you need to spend some time in your HELP file and the TUTORIAL.

If you are comfortable using regedit, you can edit them out of the registry (backup first) or I could provide you with a better editor (free) than regedit. If it were my computer and the items were causing no problems, I would ask Spybot to stop showing them to me and try not to get infected anymore.

I don't belive that there is any malware in my system, and if things look good to you, then that would seem to confirm things. Things are running much better. I have posted the results of the Smitfraud search scan below:

System Restore does not know the good files from the bad. In case bad stuff has gotten into your System Restore files, follow the instructions in this link to get clean System Restore files. Turn it off, reboot then turn it back on:
