Save text below as fix.reg on Notepad (save it as all files (*.*)) on the Desktop.

Code: 
REGEDIT4

It should look like this ->

Doubleclick fix.reg, press Yes and ok.

OK. And on the instructions to negate the slowdown effects of a hosts file, what does switching it to manual do? Do I have to do something extra when I start up my computer?

No need to do anything extra. Slowdowns don't occur in every case. I recommend you try first without changing dns client service to manual. Do so only if you experience significant slowness after installing mvps hosts file.
 
Alright! THANK YOU!!! I am free of all infestations now. One lasat question, can I delete the fix.reg file and the kaspersky online scan file that are on my desktop or leave them on my computer? Again thank you for your help and for putting up with my countless amount of questions.

Yes, you can delete those now.
