Hi and welcome to the Board

I'm Blade and I am going to try to help you with your problem. Please take a note of five things.

  1. I will start working on your Malware issues, this may or may not, solve other issues you have with your machine.
  2. The fixes are specific to your problem and should only be used for this issue on this machine
  3. The process is not instant. Please continue to review my answers until I tell you your machine is clear. Absence of symptoms does not mean that everything is clear.
  4. If you don't know, stop and ask! Don't keep going on.
  5. Please reply to this thread. Do not start a new topic.

  • Save HJTsetup.exe to your desktop.
  • Doubleclick on the HJTsetup.exe icon on your desktop.
  • By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Hijack This.
  • Continue to click Next in the setup dialogue boxes until you get to the Select Addition Tasks dialogue.
  • Put a check by Create a desktop icon then click Next again.
  • Continue to follow the rest of the prompts from there.
  • At the final dialogue box un-check Launch Hijackthis and click Finish.
  • Rename Hijackthis.exe to scanner.exe and start Hijackthis. (We need to do this since Vundo hides itself sometimes if Hijackthis.exe file isn't renamed first).
  • Click on the Do a system scan and save a logfile button. It will scan and the log should open in notepad.
  • Click on
    Edit > Select All
    then click on
    Edit > Copy
to copy the entire contents of the log.
  • Come back here to this thread and Paste the log in your next reply.
  • DO NOT have Hijack This fix anything yet. Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.

tnx mr blade...ok i'll do what u instructed it will take for awhile for me to get it all done since the computer is performing so slow...hope it wont take me the whole day....i'll post asap. tnx

One or more of the identified infections is a backdoor trojan.

This allows hackers to remotely control your computer, steal critical system information and Download and Execute files

I would counsel you to disconnect this PC from the Internet immediately. If you do any banking or other financial transactions on the PC or if it should contain any other sensitive information, please get to a known clean computer and change all passwords where applicable, and it would be wise to contact those same financial institutions to apprise them of your situation.

Though the Trojan has been identified and can be killed, because of it's backdoor functionality, your PC is very likely compromised and there is no way to be sure your computer can ever again be trusted. Many experts in the security community believe that once infected with this type of Trojan, the best course of action would be a reformat and reinstall of the OS. Please read these for more information:

How Do I Handle Possible Identify Theft, Internet Fraud and CC Fraud?
When Should I Format, How Should I Reinstall

However, if you do not have the resources to reinstall your computer and would like me to attempt to clean it, I will be happy to do so.
Should you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

Please let us know what you have decided to do in your next post.

ahmm is running vundo fix really takes long tym? well i started scanning 10 am now its almost 7 pm here and its not yet done scanning..as of now it detected this c:\\windows\systems32\qmjinavu.dll i know that its working cause there's a status "searching for file...." and tym 2 tym the file changes so it means its running.

It shouldn't take that long. Have you defragged your hard drives lately? I see you use Bittorrent. It would be wise to defrag occasionally.

am back :D: sorry for the delay kinda busy this fast few days...i already defrag and it helps the pop, vundo scanning is now faster and the pop up thing is gone and i can now wrk with my computer without hassle but its kinda slow prin..here's the log u asked.
