I have question
Is there some kind of program one could use on a USB drive that would scan a used computor that is for sell to see if it was all working and to check weather it was infected or not before you buy it?
The reason I ask is I bought a used computor for what I thought was good deal for my family to use instead of mine, thought it was OK, but I got surprised.
Now I'm stuck :banghead: on what I thought was a great ideal.

Hello Mark,
You didn't say if this computer you bought has internet access. If not you can download Hijackthis to any computer or directly to a thumb drive from one of your computers that has internet access, transfer it to that computer and run it to scan and save a log file, when it it opens in Notepad, you can select File> Save As and save it to your Thumbdrive, then copy the log from the thumbdrive and paste it here for me to see.

Trendmicros Hijackthis to your desktop, double click it to install, follow the prompts
and by default it will install in C:\Program Files\Trendmicro\Hijackthis\Highjackthis.exe

- Go to Format and make sure Wordwrap is Unchecked

I think I missed up then, I posted a new problem already, about two hours ago. (Need help with Trojan.Win32 plus others) Not thinking that I could have posted here instead. Sorry, I was frustrated, I finally just shut it down and got on my comp. just to send that last post to you and now.
