Need help

I ran spybot on my machine and it removed a lot of bad stuff. I got a notice that it could not remove the following
Smithfrad-C.Core It recommended that I ask for help in the Forum on how to remove the files in Windows/system32/core.cache.dsk I was able to go to the registry in safe mode and delete them.. but there they were again on the next scan. The pop-ups & junk I'm getting is a real pain. Can someone explain the means to remove this trojan?
I think I got it when I downloaded a register repair program. I need help!!

For someone to take a look at the system, please follow the procedure in this link, skip another Spybot-S&D scan for now:
"BEFORE you POST"(READ this Procedure BEFORE Requesting Assistance)

Then start your own thread in the Malware Removal Forum where a helper will advise you when available.
