Need hijack this log help

:sad:More problems. I downloaded the spyware blaster using the link provided and it will not run. It does nothing. So I tried to download from c.net and I get an error code. So still I am unable to run this. I further tried to delete the file from c: (after uninstalling through programs) and it refuses to let me. It says I need permission. I ran into this same situation trying to remove another uninstalled file from c: that you directed me to do.

Hi

Could you post those Spybot findings that are still left?

Blade81, I really hate to sound stupid, but after I re-ran spybot I tried to find the log or someway to copy it, to no avail. How do I accomplish this latest log feat?:hair:

Blade81, I finally located the log file. There is a really big one 256KB, but I thought I'd start with the smaller one first.:)

Hi

Delete C:\WINDOWS\wt folder manually and let me know how it goes. :)

:)Got the PUPS taken care of. Thank you. I will revert back to post #19 and start taking care of that list and will get back with you:cleaning:

:hair: Blade81 - I went back to the to-do list and once again ran into snags. Spyware Blaster. I downloaded it and it does absolutely nothing. I uninstalled and tried multiple times to no avail. I click on it and get nothing. I uninstalled again, went into C: to delete the folder there to start fresh and I get this message: destination folder access denied to perform action. I get this a lot when I try to delete an uninstalled program folder. I went to the other sites to download from there. I get this error message: error access violation at 0x7272C1AA. (tried to write to 0x0000009C) Program terminted. This happened at the other two sites I went to in order to download Spyware Blaster.

Then the Host thing has me really confused. Didn't know what I was to download.

Also, the problem I had that orignially started my session with you has returned. My web pages are re-directed. It's some type of tracker and is causing a lot of headaches, etc. I copied the link I keep seeing.
http://63.123.155.71/search?cat=web&con=net&form_submit=1&q=/63.123.155.71/&top_SearchSubmit=

Here is a website I found something on, just don't know how to stop it.
http://cqcounter.com/?sts,refer,,5,,suns32.

I ran sybot and come up clean.

Recently I went into user accounts. I set up two. Mine, administrator and a guest account which is deactivated. When I went in I found a third account had been added that was password protected that I did not setup. A machine account. I deleted this account. Don't know if that would have anything to do with my inability to delete file folders for unistalled programs.:banghead: The good news is the check list under internet options was already checked. I didn't have to make any changes. So this is where I stand on my headaches.

I uninstalled again, went into C: to delete the folder there to start fresh and I get this message: destination folder access denied to perform action.
Have you tried reboot and then delete the folder? Did you uninstall SpywareBlaster thru add/remove programs? If you install hosts file it's not necessary to install SpywareBlaster.

Then the Host thing has me really confused. Didn't know what I was to download.

Just download hosts.zip to your desktop. Extract it and run mvps.bat.
