Newbie and having some problems

OK, first of all, I have to apologize beacuse my english is bad.

than..., spybot rocks, it really is the best program for all the crap, i'm using it since i can remember..

but lately i'm having some problems with it...

i had a normal version, with no..., how should i say, with no ''everything i do'' scanner that runs all the time, for al the processes that i make. and this function in version 1.6.0. i believe, has slowed my surfing on the internet very much. I have uninstaled the program, and surfing on the internet became much, much quicker...

can somebody please help me? i would really like to have spybot back on, but when i do have one, internet becomes really slow..., beacuse of all the scaning that is happening. can i somehow shut off this function, or can i get an older version that does not have this function?

Maybe SDHelper makes this problem.
SDHelper is a IE add-on which blocks all bad sites and cookies.
Some users have this problem.
Are you using IE 7 or 8?
If you want to turn SDHelper off, go to Spybot-S&D > Tools > Resident , and then clear the checkbox named: Resident "SDHelper" (Internet Explorer bad download blocker) active.
