packet.dll

I just installed Spybot 1.5 and did a scan. Surprisingly, it detected spyagent, a keylogger due to packet.dll

It is surprising because before installation, I did a scan with 1.4 with updated detections and it did not detect anything. Is this a false positive/bug? Anyone having the same problem with me??

Thanks

Hello.

If you post the log of the actual detection you are getting, someone will be better able to advise you.

To do that run another scan.
When the scan completes, right click on the results list, select "Copy results to clipboard", not full report.

Then paste (Ctrl+V) those results to a new post in this thread.

Regards. :)

Hi... I am still getting the same result even after updating the detection library today. Should I also download the Beta Application Update to fix this problem?? Thanks

Yes, the false positive was caused by the beta.sbi. If you do not download a new one, the fp will persist.
