PC freezes, but only for one user

Since I downloaded the latest Spybot version, whenever I log on, I get to my desktop, but then I'm frozen. Nothing responds, I can't click on anything and no tasks are running. But, when my wife logs on as her, she's fine. Anyone know what this might be?

What operating system are you using?

When you say "Since I downloaded the latest Spybot version", does this mean as an update to an existing installation of Spybot, or as a completely new install (i.e. you didn't have Spybot installed before at all)?

What account was in use when the installation of Spybot was done, your user account, your wifes user account or an administrator account?
