Something called personal anti-virus keeps loading at start up and tells me i am infected with a form of trojan WIN32 Agent.azsy virus. Symantec hasn't found anything. Here is my HJT scan.

Let's have a look like this.

1) Please DO NOT ENABLE Spybot S&D TeaTimer while we work together.

2) Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your Desktop
http://www.malwarebytes.org/

http://www.besttechie.net/mbam/mbam-setup.exe <<< download

* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
* Be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform FULL SCAN, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location. The log can also be opened by going to Start > All Programs > Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware > Logs > log-date.txt
* .

Note: If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be Please post contents of that file & a new HJT log in your next replypresented with 1 of 2 prompts. Click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process. If asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately. Failure to reboot will prevent MBAM from removing all the malware.

3) Post also an uninstall list: Open Hijackthis.
Click the "Open the Misc Tools" section Button.
Click the "Open Uninstall Manager" Button.
Click the "Save list..." Button.
Save it to your desktop. Copy and paste the contents into your reply.

Symantec Endpoint Protection Scan

I also did a full Symantec Endpoint Protection scan and all it was able to find was one tracking cookie which it deleted. Otherwise I think things are normal.

Thanks Mike, just a little yet to do. Please complete the uninstall list updates and remove Viewpoint Media Player so I can make sure it is gone from your computer before we close. We have one issue to resolve, this item:

HTJ Scan and more

Here is a fresh HTJ Scan. Viewpoint media player has been removed. I have turned off some of the startup services, at least the ones I thought weren't necessary. Please see the attached image of the warning I am getting when launching HJT. Jotti did not find a problem with the wscript.exe file so should I take any further action?

I am far from expert with the Vista Operating System. From what I am reading HJT can't access the hosts file (I have no reason to believe your hosts file has a problem) If you look at the last line of the message:
For Vista: simply, exit HijackThis, right click on the HijackThis icon, choose 'Run as administrator'.

Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

Update MBAM and scan to be sure we missed none of the junk, there is no need to post a clean scan result.
