plagued by Virtumonde.dll entries

I gave my user admin authority. Rebooted into safe mode as my user. Ran a quick scan with MBAM. It didn't find anything.

Could the infection be in the registry or must it be re-occuring from a running program?

I'll run MBAM again with a full scan in safe mode.

Do you have any other suggestion on identifying and removing the vundo trojan?
